Feeling nostalgic for a piece of your childhood? Still mourning the loss of Carrie Fisher, aka Princess Leia? Time for a “Star Wars” dinner and a movie party!

Whether you and your squad are down for a “Star Wars” marathon, or you’re introducing your kids to the series for the first time, ramp it up and go all out. Give your family all the intergalactic feels when you pair the movie(s) with an out-of-this-world menu. C’mon, Princess Leia and snacks? You must, friend. In the immortal words of Yoda, there is no try, only do.

Dress the part

First of all, you must dress for the occasion. The easiest costume in the galaxy far, far away to throw together is a Jedi Knight: one brown bathrobe, one pair of tan pants, one cream-colored tunic and a pair of boots. Or you could throw on a curly wig and acid wash jeans under the robe and be Bon Jovi-Wan Kenobi. Or wear a bird beak and be a Millennial Falcon. Either way, the food will taste the same.

And now, for our feature presentation… feast on treats that’ll send your taste buds into outer space!

NIBBLES: “Chewy” Caramel popcorn

Ahem, this homemade caramel popcorn is chewy — do you see what we did there? If you want to get really crazy, drizzle a little melted chocolate on top (wait until it hardens to eat it). By the way, what do you call Chewbacca when he has chocolate stuck in his hair? A chocolate chip Wookiee. Wah wah wah.

APPETIZER: Yodamole, or rolls with guac

A “Star Wars” party isn’t a party without guacamole. Serve this divine guacamole dip in the shape of Yoda’s head (it is the perfect shade of green), and voilà! You’ve got Yodamole. Scoop it up with these basic dinner rolls from Fiction Kitchen — they are like Rey’s Jakku Ration Bread but much better tasting.

ENTRÈE: Sith kabobs

These grilled Korean steak kabobs — or, as we like to call them, Sith kabobs — can be easily turned into the ultimate in interplanetary weaponry. With a little duct tape and a black marker, you can make the end of the skewers look like lightsabers, so there is no need to use the forks.

SIDE DISH: Darth taters

Dark side represent! These sweet potato tots are the perfect Darth taters.

DESSERT: Blue milkshake from Tatooine

What better way to wash this all down than with an icy cold glass of a beverage milked out of a giant space yak? Baking Mischief’s “Star Wars” blue milk from Tatooine is super easy to make and easily tweaked if you want to make it into dessert instead.

In a blender, combine 1-1/2 cups of milk, two cups of blue Hawaiian Punch, 10 drops of blue food coloring and two cups of vanilla ice cream and blend until smooth. If you want to get extra decadent and make this into a dessert, throw an extra scoop of ice cream on top before you serve it. It should make about three servings.
