Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped white chocolate
  • 2-1/2 cups whole milk, divided
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice plus extra for garnish
  • 1 ounce Kahlua coffee liqueur
  • Whipped cream
  • Caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low-medium heat, combine the white chocolate and 1/2 cup of the milk. Cook, continuously whisking, for three to four minutes or until the white chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add the remainder of the milk, pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, whisking the ingredients until well combined. Continue to heat, whisking often, until the mixture is hot.
  3. Pour a small amount of the hot chocolate into two to four serving glasses and add one ounce of Kahlua to each glass. Stir to combine.
  4. Top each glass off with white hot chocolate and stir.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a dash of pumpkin pie spice.
