Stuffing is a classic Thanksgiving dish, but who says you can’t turn a tried and true classic into a modern recipe everyone will love?! This Thanksgiving, wow your guests with bacon-wrapped stuffing bites! Feel free to use your favorite stuffing recipe, or use Stove-Top like we did. You can also add sausage, or apples, or any of your favorite stuffing ingredients. These are easy to make too. Simply prepare your stuffing, wrap in bacon, and bake! And the best part is that the bacon flavor seeps into the stuffing as they bake in the oven, mmmm.

This recipe makes 12 stuffing bites.

Bacon-wrapped stuffing balls

Ingredients

  • 12 bacon strips
  • 1 box Stove-Top Turkey Stuffing
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter.
  3. Add the chopped onions and celery, and cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the water and bring to a boil, then stir in the Stove-Top stuffing mix. Cover and turn off the heat. Let stand for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork and allow to cool.
  5. Once cool enough to touch, form 1-inch balls of stuffing with your hands and wrap with a slice of bacon.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped stuffing balls on a greased baking pan, and bake for 25 minutes or until crispy.
