Gingersnap martini

Ingredients
- Honey, for rimming glass
- 6 gingersnap cookies, finely crushed
- 2 to 3 thin slices peeled fresh ginger
- 1/4 ounce molasses
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- Pinch ground cloves
- Pinch ground allspice
- Ice
- 1-ounce pear-flavored vodka
- 1/2 ounce amaretto
- Crystallized ginger slice
Instructions
- Pour honey in a small plate. Place crushed gingersnap cookies in a second small plate.
- Dip rim of martini glass in honey, then roll rim in crushed gingersnap cookies.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine fresh ginger, molasses, simple syrup, cinnamon, clove and allspice. Muddle together well.
- Add ice to the shaker. Pour vodka and amaretto over ice.
- Cover shaker and shake vigorously.
- Strain cocktail into martini glass. Garnish with piece of crystallized ginger. Serve immediately.
