Best basic pecan pie recipe

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
- 1 stick of butter, softened
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions
- Beat eggs until they're light and fluffy.
- Add sugar and beat again.
- Pour in syrup, butter, pecans, salt and vanilla.
- Beat again and pour into pie crust.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Bake for 10 minutes; then reduce temperature to 325 for 30 minutes.
- Enjoy with whipped cream or ice cream.
