How to make a kissing ball holiday craft

Who hasn’t dreamed of sharing a kiss under the mistletoe? Romantic… but unoriginal. Instead of mistletoe this year, hang a kissing ball!

Under the kissing ball

Kissing balls are a fun addition to any home during Christmastime. Sure, a sprig of mistletoe is more traditional, but this ball is a fun variation on the same theme. Hang a few outside or inside — both would be adorable. It’s great way to get into the festive spirit and brighten up your home or porch.

Tying a ribbon on the kissing ball

This pretty craft project offers many different ways for you to get creative — using different ribbons, garland colors or styles, and a variety of greenery — and you could even try a live evergreen ball. As holiday decorations, these also look beautiful hung from a chandelier, or hang them in groups of three — using matching or complementary ribbon colors.
