Reindeer candy bottles make sweet gifts

Every year, we need gifts to take to coaches, teachers and group members during the holiday season. These are the people for whom we want to show appreciation and love. Shopping individually for everyone is nearly impossible for most of us, though; the time and budget for such gift giving tends to be tight.

One of our team members likes to keep several of these reindeer bottles on hand, because they’re the perfect kind of last-minute gift. They can be produced en masse, have a shelf life of about a month, and are compact enough to carry around in a car or purse to hand out as needed. These cute little reindeer qualify on every front!

What to my wondering eyes should appear…

We made our reindeer into little Rudolphs (you can tell by the red nose!), but you also can use black fuzzy craft balls for the noses if you want to give equal time to Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.

You can use whatever type of brown candy you like in place of the malt balls used here. Chocolate-covered raisins and peanuts, Sugar Babies, brown-only M&Ms (which you can purchase in bulk), Jelly Bellies (brown beans include chocolate pudding, root beer and cappuccino) and cocoa almonds are just a few that would work in these reindeer bottles.
