  1. Combine bacon, oil and/or seasoning with water in large, gallon sealed bag or container and let marinate for 12–24 hours. 
  2. Cook in a skillet on low, flipping until browned to your liking. Or, bake for 25–30 minutes at 325F. If cooking in the oven, cover the baking sheet in aluminum foil for easier cleanup.

Notes

Use thick-cut bacon from a deli or butcher. No need for extra salt, pepper or oil on the pan or baking sheet (the natural bacon grease keeps everything from sticking).

For mild truffle flavor, use truffle seasoning. For medium truffle flavor, use truffle oil. For a rich truffle flavor, use both during the marinating process.
