Boozy pumpkin white hot chocolate
Yield 2-4 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped white chocolate
- 2-1/2 cups whole milk, divided
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice plus extra for garnish
- 1 ounce Kahlua coffee liqueur
- Whipped cream
- Caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a saucepan over low-medium heat, combine the white chocolate and 1/2 cup of the milk. Cook, continuously whisking, for three to four minutes or until the white chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the remainder of the milk, pumpkin puree andĀ pumpkin pie spice, whisking the ingredients until well combined. Continue to heat, whisking often, until the mixture is hot.
- Pour a small amount of the hot chocolate into two to four servingĀ glasses and add one ounce of Kahlua to each glass. Stir to combine.
- Top each glass off with white hot chocolate and stir.
- Garnish with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a dash of pumpkin pie spice.
