It’s not like moms have a ton of time to sit around watching mommy YouTube videos, but sometimes, when you can’t sleep because you’re worried about whether or not your daughter will make it onto the soccer team or how your son is dealing with the school bully, a video or two is the perfect alternative to Ambien.

These 10 super-popular mom videos are relatable to anyone who has ever had the privilege of being a mom, a job that, even when it’s completely overwhelming, is still the greatest job in the world. Except for maybe, say, luxury spa tester-outer. That would be pretty great, too.

1. Taylor Swift — “Blank Space” parody (mom version) by WhatsUpMoms

The WhatsUpMoms are known for their hilarious mommy take-offs on pop music, and they did not disappoint with their video version of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.” “And we’re old and we’re tired” may be one of the most relatable lines in any mommy YouTube video. BTW, Swift revealed in a now-deleted tweet that her own mother thought the lyrics really said, “All the lonely Starbucks lovers.” Must be a mom thing.

Welcome to every mom group on the internet ever. Everyone reading this has been guilty of being at least one, if not more, of these moms. From the self-important admin to the chronic worry wart, every single one of you have at one time or another pushed coconut oil or recommended sketchy work from home schemes. Of course, real life mom groups are usually full of the same characters, except you don’t have a screen to hide behind when you roll your eyes. Check out part 2 here.

3. Stop complaining about back to school shopping by OneFunnyMother

You know that old Staples commercial where the dad is dancing through the store gleefully tossing school supplies into the cart while his kids sullenly drag their feet behind him as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” plays in the background? Dena Blizzard of OneFunnyMother is here to not-so-gently remind you that at back-to-school time, we all need to be that dad and load up the cart with double what’s on the teacher’s supply list. Why? Because they’re taking those little demons off your hands for seven hours a day for the next nine months. Just buy the yellow binder.

4. Mom truths: Why moms are so tired by Today Parenting Team contributors Cat and Nat

Have you ever tried to stuff three baby piglets into snowsuits while they’re hungry and have to pee? That’s just one of many reasons why moms are so tired, like, all the time, forever. The demands of motherhood plus career plus maintaining a relationship with your partner plus being the default parent plus keeping your house one step ahead of being declared a public health hazard can be completely overwhelming. The good news is that you’re not alone. You’re doing a good job, mama!

5. A normal day by Story of This Life

The everyday drudgery of motherhood quickly becomes the new normal, and too often when looking back on the hard days moms tend to beat themselves up over not being enough, or not being better — whatever better means to them. This video shows that if you take a breath and try to see it through your child’s eyes, what seems like a constant series of setbacks may actually be a day full of love and fun according to her memories.

6. What moms want from their husbands on Mother’s Day by That’s Inappropriate

What Moms Want From Their Husbands On Mother's Day

I think I know what Moms want from their husbands on Mother's Day. Check out my video and see if I'm right. If so, tag your mate and let them know what you really want this year.

Screw your coupon books, your crappy, weak massages full of ulterior motives, and your blenders. What do moms really want for Mother’s Day? To be left the hell alone. And a mimosa. And not a penis anywhere in the vicinity of their bodies. Thanks in advance, dads.

7. Company is coming by Chris Flemming

Flemming channels every mom when a visit from family or friends is imminent. Puff and fluff those pillows, people! Mom’s irrational ideas of how people judge and what is expected of her is like looking in the mirror. If you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? (You can laugh at Chris Flemming’s mom impression, that’s what.)

8. God’s gift by Kelly Gunderson

Watching a parent lose their memories of your life together while suffering from Alzheimer’s is one of the hardest things to endure, but Gunderson’s

video shows that during those increasingly brief moments of lucidity, a mother’s love will always shine through. If you need a good cry today, this will do it for you. Grab the tissues.

9. Real mom makeup tutorial by MyLifeSuckers

Just basically forget about doing even a semi-decent job of your makeup until your kids are in college. If you even make it long enough to dig out your makeup bag from the back of the bathroom cabinet, it’s guaranteed you’ll be interrupted with mascara on only one eye, then forget to do the other before you run out the door, and then you spend the rest of the day looking like Alex in A Clockwork Orange. This mommy YouTube video demonstrates why.

Jenny of Jenny on the Spot’s super-relatable rant is pretty much every weekday morning of at least 13 years of your life. You may want to invest in some soothing meditation music.
