Halloween cookie bark
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons shortening, divided
- 1 bag orange Wilton Candy Melts
- 5 graham crackers, whole
- 6 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/3 cup of candy corn
- Halloween colored sprinkles
Instructions
- In a double boiler, slowly melt the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon shortening until creamy and smooth. Keep warm.
- In a double boiler, melt the orange candy melts and 1 tablespoon shortening until creamy and smooth. Keep warm.
- Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
- Cover the bottom of the pan with the whole pieces of graham crackers.
- Pour the melted chocolate on top of the graham crackers, spreading it out to the edges and corners of the dish.
- Pour the orange candy melts over the chocolate layer and spread it out to the corners and edges of the dish.
- Randomly sprinkle the marshmallows over the orange candy melts.
- Sprinkle the crushed Oreos over the top of the marshmallows.
- Sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces over the top of the Oreos.
- Sprinkle the candy corn over the top of the Reese’s Pieces.
- Sprinkle the Halloween colored sprinkles over the top of the candy corn.
- Place a piece of parchment paper over the top of the candy. Gently apply pressure over all the toppings to embed them in the melted chocolate.
- Allow the cookie bark to harden overnight.
- Carefully remove the cookie bark. Use your hands to break it into pieces, then serve.
