Halloween cookie bark

  1. In a double boiler, slowly melt the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon shortening until creamy and smooth. Keep warm.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the orange candy melts and 1 tablespoon shortening until creamy and smooth. Keep warm.
  3. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  4. Cover the bottom of the pan with the whole pieces of graham crackers.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate on top of the graham crackers, spreading it out to the edges and corners of the dish.
  6. Pour the orange candy melts over the chocolate layer and spread it out to the corners and edges of the dish.
  7. Randomly sprinkle the marshmallows over the orange candy melts.
  8. Sprinkle the crushed Oreos over the top of the marshmallows.
  9. Sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces over the top of the Oreos.
  10. Sprinkle the candy corn over the top of the Reese’s Pieces.
  11. Sprinkle the Halloween colored sprinkles over the top of the candy corn.
  12. Place a piece of parchment paper over the top of the candy. Gently apply pressure over all the toppings to embed them in the melted chocolate.
  13. Allow the cookie bark to harden overnight.
  14. Carefully remove the cookie bark. Use your hands to break it into pieces, then serve.
