Easter usually calls for a scrumptious feast — and no Easter is complete without copious amounts of sweets to top it off. (Just ask the little members of the egg-hunting team.) Beyond all the jellybeans and chocolate bunnies, these delicious Easter desserts are sure to please guests young and old.

1. Easter muddy buddies

Some things just go together: Mickey and Minnie, Pooh and Eeyore, Lucy and Ethel … and chocolate and peanut butter! There’s really no wrong way to pair these equally delicious flavors, but here’s a good idea: muddy buddies.

You can put together this bowl of crunchy, chocolatey, peanut-buttery deliciousness with just a few simple ingredients you probably have in your pantry right now. It’s a quick and easy treat to make, too. A little measuring, melting and mixing are all that’s required Little hands can even help; just be sure to keep a close watch on the ingredients so they don’t disappear during the creative process.

Placed in a pretty bowl, this treat with its bright Easter colors will add a little something special to your Easter table. If you prefer to give it away, put some in an airtight container, wrap it with a pastel-colored ribbon or some raffia and a little Easter bunny or flower, and share the sweetness of the season with someone special.

2. Coconut Easter nest cake

Mmmmm, cake. Sweet, moist goodness slathered with rich, creamy icing is always a hit. This coconut Easter nest cake is everything you love about baking, creating, designing, and indulging.

To get started, choose your favorite flavor of Bundt cake: lemon, chocolate, red velvet, pecan, carrot, cinnamon swirl, or anything else you can dream of. Then, it’s time to create the nest effect. Toasted coconut is the delicious secret here: It goes with any flavor of cake and frosting. Other options include sliced almonds, crushed candied pecans or walnuts, pastel-colored sprinkles, or even sliced fruit like strawberries, kiwi, raspberries or blueberries. Without the coconut, you might lose the nest look but none of the flavor!

Then, you’ll fill the hole in the middle of the “nest” with two or three different varieties of candy eggs — maybe jellybeans or malted milk eggs. Top it off with a small chocolate bunny or two for a cake that’s just as sweet as the loved ones you serve it to.

Little ones will love to create this with you, sprinkling toppings, filling the middle (and probably swiping a couple pieces of candy in the process).

Set this lovely creation on your Easter table and watch it disappear.

3. Chocolate cheesecake deviled strawberries

Whether you are hosting an Easter gathering or have been invited to one, presentation counts. You want your dessert to look every bit as good as it tastes. For a quick and easy Easter dessert that will impress, whip up these chocolate cheesecake deviled strawberries.

This gorgeous offering satisfies even the biggest sweet tooth with the addictive combination of strawberries and chocolate. These gorgeous specimens are not only beautiful to look at: They’re incredibly decadent. You won’t want to gobble these up like jelly beans and chocolate eggs. Rather, you’ll want to sit back and savor this treat one delicious bite at a time.

Little kitchen helpers will enjoy decorating these using a pastry bag filled with the cheesecake topping. (Just be sure there’s no licking the tip or fingers between strawberries.)

Arrange the finished beauties on an elegant platter or tray, and stand back while they disappear. You won’t have to worry about storing leftovers because there won’t be any.
